What a job Martin O’Neill is doing at Celtic!
You fear that, without him, this campaign would have panned out very differently for Celtic, probably an utter disaster, on and off the pitch, but at least now, amid the troubles, there is still fight.
That was showcased on Thursday night when Celtic beat Utrecht in the Europa League to book their play-off ticket, and now a potential trip to either Germany or Hungary awaits.
If it’s the latter, then it’s a meeting with former Celtic striker Robbie Keane.

Which side do you want Celtic to face?

Robbie Keane on potential Celtic meeting in the Europa League
Keane has been linked with the Celtic job, so it makes it even more interesting that he could knock the Hoops out of the Europa League and probably enhance his chances of getting the job, as weird as it sounds.
Ferencvaros have done well to get to the knockout stages, and Keane had a smile on his face when asked about possibly facing the champions of Scotland in a two-legged play-off to determine who reaches the last-16.
Of course, the former striker brought up O’Neill’s name, given that the legendary Celtic boss is his former manager, as he stated, whatever happens, ‘we will enjoy it’, as he told TNT Sports.
Reporter: “Well, in the play-offs, potentially, Celtic or Ludogorets. There is a smile over your face there.”
Keane: “Obviously, the connection to Celtic, of course, I have played there. A fantastic club. Unbelievable support. Of course, that would be special. Playing against my own manager as well, in Martin.
“Ludogorets, we have played. We have done well against them. Who we get, it doesn’t matter, regardless of who it is. We will enjoy it, anyway.”
The way I would improve the atmosphere at Celtic Park is…
