Yes, you read that headline right.
Celtic-daft music legend Rod Stewart has found the time to phone the Daily Record to lay into Keith Jackson.
Just yesterday, Stewart defended the Celtic board over their January transfer window whilst phoning into talkSPORT.
That’s after the Celtic Fans Collective organised a boycott of Celtic’s match against Dundee on Saturday, for reasons including (but not excluded) to the club’s business this winter.
Jackson was one of many to question their January business, and this prompted a response from the 81-year-old celebrity supporter.

To say the least, Stewart is a marmite figure among Hoops fans.
His outspoken opinion on football and politics have led to strong reactions among the Parkhead faithful.

But ironically, Jackson’s criticism of Celtic’s transfer business – relative to the £70 million held by the club in cash reserves – is an opinion shared by many in the Hoops support.
It certainly isn’t by Stewart, who phoned into the Daily Record’s hotline to tell the senior journo to ‘get a life’.
Stewart said: “Why the hell is Keith Jackson so obviously obsessed about how much money Celtic have in the bank?
“It reeks of envy,” the rock singer added. “C’mon Keith, get a life mate!”
Stewart went viral for celebrating Wilfried Nancy’s sacking, and has never been far from the headlines during the tumultuous 2025-26 season.
He attended Celtic’s 3-1 win over Feyenoord in Rotterdam and has been vociferous in his support of O’Neill.

The three terms of Celtic Fans Collective boycott
Celtic chairman Brian Wilson responded to the boycott plans on Thursday evening, but didn’t address any of their three conditions of the boycott.
The first is the removal of Michael Nicholson from his position of CEO, with the group unhappy at his performance and communication in the role.
It also demands the reintroduction of the Green Brigade to Celtic matches, with the group recently saying that there is ‘no end in sight’ for their lock-out.
Also currently locked out are fan media organisations, with the collective demanding that they are allowed back into men’s and women’s team matches.
