Celtic aren’t back in action until next weekend, with the international break ongoing.
Off the back of a dramatic 3-2 win against Motherwell, Brendan Rodgers’ side travel to Dens Park to face Dundee in their next fixture.
Their next Europa League fixture against Sturm Graz stands out as critical, given a poor home defeat against Braga in the second matchday.
But for many in Scotland, the focus will be on Steve Clarke’s crucial upcoming qualifiers against Greece and Belarus.
And when discussing the upcoming Greece match, one former Scotland striker has taken the time to give a shoutout to a famous Celtic pub in the Gallowgate.
Ross McCormack’s Celtic pub shoutout
Ross McCormack may have come through at Rangers, but he has since made it public that his boyhood club was indeed Celtic.

Speaking on TalkSPORT on Thursday morning, the topic was the match against Greece at Hampden – the same fixture resulted in a dismal defeat for Clarke last year.
Hosts Alan Brazil and Gabby Agbonlahor are travelling to Glasgow for the game, and at the end of their conversation, the ex-Aston Villa man changed the subject.
Agbonlahor asked: “More importantly Ross, where can we go tonight for some live music and a few in Glasgow mate?”
McCormack replied: “I’m not telling you, I’ve not got an invite! You get yourself up to the Hoops Bar, you’ll be more than welcome. You better have a balaclava on tonight, Agbonlahor.”
Pushed on where his allegiances lie by Brazil, Agbonlahor said: “I just want to go to the game, enjoy and have a nice time mate. I’m an Aston Villa fan.”
Agbonlahor sat firmly on the fence – McCormack on the other hand, colours firmly nailed to the mast.
Celtic fans to play for Rangers
Everyone knows about the infamous Celtic fans who joined Rangers in the late 20th century – but since then, there have been less famous cases.
Michael O’Halloran was accused of supporting Celtic whilst in attendance at a Glasgow Derby semi-final in 2018, whilst contracted to Rangers. His Dad managed the Hoops’ academy.
Liam Kelly and Ciaran Dickson are more recent examples to have come right through the academy at Ibrox with Hoops-supporting families.
McCormack, however, has been the most public about it. There can’t be many ex-Rangers strikers you’d come across in the Hoops Bar.
