Celtic supporters will have an extra opportunity to attend Parkhead this campaign once all is said and done in the Scottish Premiership title race.
The Bhoys hope to recover a two-point deficit in the league and have an opportunity to move back to the summit this weekend by seeing off St Johnstone on home soil.
Alongside this, Brendan Rodgers will be keen to maintain his spotless record in the Scottish Cup by winning the trophy for a third time in charge of the club.
Away from the competitive action, Celtic announced last week that a host of Hoops icons are set to return to Paradise on May 26th to face a Borussia Dortmund select XI in a Legends charity match organised by the Celtic FC Foundation.
Funds amassed from the occasion will be distributed among various causes to provide food provision amid the cost-of-living crisis across the UK and Ireland, and a donation is also being made to Dundee Cancer Centre at Ninewells Hospital.
Scott Brown is set to return to Parkhead as captain once more; meanwhile, Paul Lambert has been assigned as manager of the Bhoys, supported by Tom Boyd, who has come on board as his assistant.
Tickets are now on sale to season ticket holders, priced at £15 for adults and £7 for concessions wishing to attend.
Scott Brown opens up on returning to captain Celtic at Parkhead
It wouldn’t be an outlandish suggestion to say supporters will be excited to see Brown, or Broony as we like to call him, lead out the Hoops when Borussia Dortmund travel to Glasgow.
In a glittering Parkhead career, the Ayr United manager played a starring role in his old side winning 22 major honours and gave us some brilliant memories that will forever be etched into Celtic folklore.

Now, he is ready to pull his boots back on one last time, describing the opportunity to skipper our Legends as a ‘special’ occasion for Celtic fans to mark in their diary.
Brown stated [Celtic FC YouTube]: “It’s going to be emotional for myself. It’s been a long time since I’ve actually put the Hoops on and for me, it was an honour to be at the club for so long and to captain the club as well.
“It’s brilliant for the foundation as well how they’re having this game. It means so much to so many people throughout the world and not just Glasgow. They do so many great things and great projects as well.
He later added: “For myself, it’d be amazing to see all the fans as well because it’s been so long since I’ve actually worn my strip and actually played at Celtic Park.
“I’ve had so many fantastic times and memories with the players I played with as well. To play again with some of the players that I’m coming along with is going to be special.”
On what is sure to be an exciting day in Glasgow’s east end, we await further confirmation of who could be part of Celtic’s squad, with further set to be available further down the line.
