Si Ferry has praised Diego Laxalt’s worth ethic and criticised the rest of his Celtic team-mates for not following suit.
The former Hoops midfielder sounded audibly angry on Go Radio’s Football Show on Friday night.
Ferry is one of us, and will be hurting badly after an awful 4-1 loss to Sparta Prague 24 hours earlier.
Praising Celtic’s Uruguayan, he said: “Do you know the only player who actually tries to win the ball back when they give it away?
“Laxalt. He’s the only one. He’s been in the door two weeks.

“He gives the ball away, bang, he gets it back.
“You’ve got guys that have been there for years, know what it means, been part of this run of nine in-a-row, and it seems to me like they’re giving it up on a whim.
“If you’re going to lose this after giving it your best go then you can accept that.
“But to see guys who’ve been there and done it flinging their arms up in the air. That’s not acceptable.”
Fresh blood is the key here
Things have gone really stale at the club.
There are too many members of Neil Lennon’s first-team who are guaranteed starting spots regardless of how they play.
Shane Duffy, Callum McGregor, Odsonne Edouard and Scott Brown all seem to fit into that category at present.
That’s why we need new blood like Laxalt. Despite winning just once in six matches with him in the side, he has given the whole team a boost in the way he’s played.
Jeremie Frimpong did likewise last season. David Turnbull could probably do so this term too.

It will be interesting to see if, and how, Lennon freshens things up for Sunday’s visit to Fir Park.
Will Barkas rejoin the action? Will Turnbull face his old side? Can underperforming players like Duffy and Brown keep their place?
Something has to change.
