Celtic are closing in on the Scottish Premiership trophy and know they can win it soon.
Despite the Hoops’ 3-2 loss to Rangers last weekend, the 13 point lead at the top of the division is insurmountable and the title is heading back to the east end of Glasgow.
Even all the way back in December Rangers favourites knew the league was over and Brendan Rodgers‘ sides’ dominance has only grown throughout the course of the campaign. But the earliest date Celtic can win the league has changed somewhat in recent weeks.
The Glasgow derby defeat moved it back a week at least with their match against St Johnstone on April 6 the initial expected crowning moment day.

Sky Sports’ TV schedule has changed for possible Celtic title party
Now, though, if other results go their way with Gers facing tough trips to Dundee and Aberdeen while hosting on-form Hibs, Celtic could officially win the league against Kilmarnock at Celtic Park on April 12.
So it makes sense that Sky Sports have now opted to make a change to their TV schedule which will see the game moved from its original calendar plan.
Celts were initially set to face off against Derek McInnes’ Killie on April 12 in a 3pm kick-off which would not have been picked for television given the start time.
However the broadcaster may well be planning ahead and anticipating a title party to beam to their audience as they had the kick-off moved to the earlier time.

How early Celtic can lift Premiership trophy
It is the final game for Celtic and their opponents before the split and with the current lead they have, if Rangers slip up and Rodgers’ troops continue to pick up wins, the trophy would be theirs.
Celtic are deserving of the crown this term with a brilliant record even if last weekend didn’t go their way.
The club are seeking their fourth in a row to add to the Premier Sports Cup trophy they lifted against their rivals earlier this term.
A Treble is also on the cards after Celtic beat Hibs 2-0 in the quarter-finals to set up a semi vs St Johnstone. Another final would be magic!
