Celtic can start to plan for next season as the SPFL have confirmed key dates relating to the 2025/26 campaign.
From dates relating to the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish League Cup to whether or not the winter break will return.
Given Celtic’s 15-point lead at the top of the Premiership this term, once again, you are expecting Brendan Rodgers to be defending another title when the first ball is kicked on August 2, 2025.
The full list will not be released until the end of the campaign, but this still provides the chance for Celtic to look ahead:

Will there be a winter break in Scotland for the 2025/26 season?
The revamped Champions League format has meant an increase in fixtures and Europe post-Christmas for those competing in UEFA competitions.
Therefore, it shouldn’t be a surprise that, as part of the fixture release, the SPFL have confirmed that there will be no winter break for the 2025/26 season.
”The second season of the expanded UEFA club competitions – the league phase of the Champions League and Europa League again runs until the end of January – exerts additional pressure on the domestic calendar,” stated the SPFL.
“As was the case for 2024/25, there will be no scheduled William Hill Premiership winter break in season 2025/26.”
