How Celtic fans would feel about Kyogo Furuhashi returning

Reports have claimed that Celtic have made a sensational attempt to sign Kyogo Furuhashi on loan.

A modern-day Hoops hero, Kyogo has struggled ever since he left Glasgow and is still waiting to score his first league goal for Birmingham City after joining in a £9m deal last summer.

Celtic desperately need a striker and Martin O’Neill could look to the Japanese forward as inspiration.

Fans are torn on the rumours though, with one supporter commenting: “Quick fix solution, however if the rumours are true I’m not happy that we appear to be ‘begging’ him to come back. If his heart is not in it, it would be silly to persist in this pursuit. There has to be other strikers available who would be happy to come play for Celtic FC!!”

Meanwhile, another fan wrote: “Kyogo is a no brainer under the current circumstances. Brendan is gone, Jota is back soon and Martin wants the ball in the box. Ideal for Kyogo to get back to scoring goals against the two teams he tormented, Hearts and Rangers. If we sign him and another striker who can bed in, it’s a yes.”

Henrik Larsson feels the love from Celtic fans

Any chance Celtic fans get to hear from Henrik Larsson and they will all tune in.

The King of Celtic was a guest in the latest edition of the Stick to Football podcast and was able to discuss his time with the Bhoys.

There, Larsson said that Celtic were ‘his club’, which went down a storm on our pages.

We asked the simple question of ‘is Henrik Larsson Celtic’s greatest player’ and that once again sparked debate.

Poll: Is Henrik Larsson Celtic’s greatest player of all time?

“Henrik was a genuine world class striker and, in my opinion, is to date Celtic’s greatest ever player,” said one fan.

Another commented: “Henrik was a great player, but Johnstone, Dalglish and McGrain were every bit as good.”
