Celtic have a number of talented players in the first-team and in their youth ranks right now.
Brendan Rodgers has the likes of Jota, Nicolas Kuhn, Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels to call upon in the Celtic first team.
From the Celtic Academy, Rodgers can also call on the likes of Francis Turley, Dane Murray and Jude Bonnar if he needs backup at any point during this season.
However, it’s a Hoops youngster who has already left the club who is being touted as a ‘match-winner’ at the senior international level as Celtic are told he has the ‘wow’ factor.

Ex-Celtic kid Rocco Vata leaves Republic of Ireland boss speechless
Rocco Vata left Celtic to join Watford in a summer deal that earned the Parkhead club a paltry development fee.
However, it seems that Vata is now starting to flourish as Republic of Ireland boss Hiemer Hallgrimsson gives the Celtic Academy graduate a glowing reference.
Hallgrimsson told the Irish Independent, “He has been good. Basically he has just done one training [in Ireland]. We go out today just to get the feeling of the pitch and do some passing on the grass, nothing tactical.
“So yesterday was the only training. The kid has something. Like I’ve said before, he can show up and do something that you look at and go, ‘Wow’.
“That’s this kid. He can be a match-winner for us in the future.”
What Rocco Vata has done at Wolves since leaving Celtic
Vata made just six appearances for Celtic before he decided to leave the club for the English Championship side.
Now almost a full season into his move, how has Vata settled in at his new club and did Celtic make a mistake in allowing him to go?
| Rocco Vata | Played | Goals | Assists |
| Celtic | 6 | 1 | 0 |
| Watford | 29 | 4 | 3 |
Vata has scored against the likes of Portsmouth, Hull City as well as Premier League side, Fulham in the short time he has been at the club.
Now on the brink of his first senior cap for Ireland, there could be a genuine feeling amongst some Celtic fans that like Ben Doak before him, he is another young talent who got away despite the Parkhead club offering Vata a new deal to extend his stay.
