There are some photos of Celtic winger Jota going around which take a bit of believing.

No, the Portuguese attacker hasn’t been snapped preparing for Sunday or anything like that. Instead, he’s been to an iconic Celtic bar.

Jota has been at The Brazen Head in Glasgow today. You’ll surely have seen the photos going around on social media by now.

Several Twitter accounts have shared images of Celtic’s number 17 seemingly being shown around the establishment on Cathcart Road.

You need only search ‘Jota’ on the website to find countless reposts of images from the visit.

Something which doesn’t seem to have been reported to the same extent is that Jota is wearing an iconic Celtic shirt.

While images are sketchy, eagle eyed supporters will have spotted that he is sporting our original ‘bumblebee’ away shirt from 1996 to 1998.

This image shows the Celtic badge from the shirt while another photo highlights the collar. It’s all under a rather debatable double-denim combo.

It’s a pretty amazing clothing choice from an era when he wouldn’t even have been born.

It shows just how much he has taken to Celtic since moving to Glasgow at the start of the Ange Postecoglou era.

Now we just need to hope that he will be fit for Sunday’s derby against Rangers.

We should find out more from Postecoglou at tomorrow’s press conference.
