Reo Hatate’s cameo off the bench was very disappointing during Celtic vs Rangers, and 67 Hail Hail readers have named the price it would take to sell the midfielder.
On his day, the Japan international is unplayable and the best player in the Scottish Premiership.
Inconsistency has been the theme of his time at Celtic and, if we’re lucky, we see him at his best once in every five or six games.
Hatate has always been linked with moves away but now the tide has turned and Hoops fans are willing to see him go.
67 Hail Hail asked our audience on our TalkingPoints hub the fee it would take for them to cash in on the 28-year-old, and here is what they had to say.
How much would you sell Reo Hatate for?
Reo Hatate asking price revealed
After consulting our TalkingPoints platform, we were given a handful of different price ranges that Celtic supporters would sell Hatate for.
One fan said: “I would say around £5m. His performance levels have dropped in the last year, it’s like he doesn’t want to be at Celtic.”
Another supporter felt that the Bhoys could squeeze a few extra million out of someone, saying: “I reckon you would get £8m for Hatate.”
Lastly, another reader went even higher and suggests that north of £10m would be realistic, saying that Celtic could get £12m for the 28-year-old.

When does Reo Hatate’s contract expire?
The length of time left on the midfielder’s contract will play a part in how much the Hoops can realistically demand for his signature.
He signed a five-year extension until 2023, meaning that his current deal runs until 2028.

That gives him two-and-a-half years to go, at the time of writing, meaning Celtic could still theoretically demand around the £15m ballpark if they felt like it.
