Often whenever a poor result happens like Celtic’s draw with Dundee United, the can, at times, be a kneejerk reaction by fans or pundits.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers didn’t his disappointment about dropping points at Dundee United but he was fair and rational with his verdict on the result.

The Hoops boss was forced to make a number of changes for the visit to Tannadice and, it’s fair to say, those changes didn’t pay off as Celtic played out a 0-0 stalemate at Dundee United.

To be fair to many Celtic fans, the message they are now sending to Rodgers about the Celtic trio who failed to deliver in Tayside is nothing that has not been said before points were dropped in Tayside.

Celtic fans’ scathing message about Luis Palma & Hyunjun Yang after Dundee United draw

Luis Palma and Hyunjun Yang have flattered to deceive for a number of months at Celtic now. Both players produce flashes of magic at times, but the only magic they showed against Dundee United was the ability to produce a vanishing act.

Palma proved once again with his cameo appearance the reason why Rodgers has kept him out in the cold and it seems fans have lost patience with him and Yang after their performances for Celtic today.

One fan said, “Palma and Yang must be two of the worst wingers to ever play for Celtic.” whilst another put, “Palma is so predictable and can’t beat a man.”

Another Celtic fan agreed and said, “Awful performance. A good wake-up call for most of the players, Yang & Palma & Ralston is nowhere near good enough.”

One Hoops supporter raged, “Release Yang and Palma immediately and bring in 2 proper wingers.”

This has been a consistent message all season from many Celtic fans and it is one now that Rodgers needs to address, especially with James Forrest out for six weeks.

What fans are telling Brendan Rodgers to do with Celtic hero Kyogo Furuhashi

Kyogo Furuhashi has been off it for a number of weeks and whilst the criticism of the Celtic striker is nowhere near what it is for Yang and Palma, fans do have a message for Rodgers about the talismanic striker.

Another Celtic fan said, “Kyogo needs benched, team needs freshness in the transfer window.” and another agreed by posting, “Terrible performance and Kyogo cost us 3 points.”

One Hoops supporter commented, “That chance that Idah set up for Kyogo should of won us the game.” and another has a solution to rest the Japanese striker, “Terrible finishing and Kyogo should’ve won that after being put through by Idah. He should have been hooked instead of McCowan. Get Jonny Kenny back from Shamrock Rovers.”

Thankfully Kenny is returning to Celtic in January after the Bhoys face Rangers but hopefully, Kyogo is firing on all cylinders in the next two fixtures against Motherwell and St Johnstone.

The criticism will always come from fans whenever points are dropped it’s how these Celtic fringe players react to it that will be telling if they are called upon again by Rodgers over the next couple of games.

As for Kyogo, maybe a spell on the bench for the next two home games will do him and Adam Idah a world of good but for very different reasons.
