Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is the latest name to be linked with a move to Celtic.
According to Sky Sports, the Hoops are looking into a possible deal for the free agent, who is currently training with Arsenal.
That makes any possible transfer easier to negotiate as Oxlade-Chamberlain is a free agent and can therefore be signed after the deadline.
One person he may want to speak to about a possible switch to the Hoops is former Liverpool teammate Andy Robertson.
Robertson was linked with Celtic himself earlier this season but he could live his dream through the 32-year-old, who he once had a light-hearted agreement with.
Could Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have an impact like Scott Sinclair did at Celtic?
Why Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has a signed Andy Robertson shirt
Oxlade-Chamberlain won the Premier League with Liverpool, ending their 30-year wait to win the English top flight.
That season saw him and Robertson play a big part in winning the title and throughout that, the two had a wager which resulted in the midfielder having to put a signed Robertson shirt up in his house after the full-back said he would hit double figures for assists.
Speaking to the Liverpool website in 2019, he said: “At the start of the season it was a bit of banter, he said: ‘If you get 10 Premier League assists, sign a shirt and I’ll put it up on my wall.’
“I don’t think he expected me to get it and he started panicking – but I’m glad to get it and there’ll be a ‘Robertson 26’ shirt up there next season!”
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could have his Scott Sinclair moment
Right now, Celtic’s midfield is too one-dimensional and only has Callum McGregor as an alternative option.
On paper, the former England international is probably more similar in the mould of the likes of Arne Engels and Reo Hatate.

In the past he played on the wing but this transfer could have a similar feel to the one when Scott Sinclair joined.
His career seemed like it was stagnating and coming to an end, but Celtic breathed new life into him and that could be the same for Oxlade-Chamberlain.
