Celtic have confirmed the signing of exciting attacker Marco Tilio.
The Australian international has joined from Melbourne City and will sign a five-year deal.
Celtic confirmed the news on Friday morning with Tilio becoming Brendan Rodgers‘ second signing of the summer.
He joins a matter of hours after his compatriot Aaron Mooy announced his retirement from football.
Tilio is a direct, skilful winger who seems to have some personality based on his short interview with club media. (Celtic)
He will wear the number 23 shirt, last worn by Boli Bolingoli.

Tilio: “My birthday is August 23, and 23 is sort of my lucky number, so it’s done me well over my time here in Melbourne and I want to carry that on coming over to Celtic.”
The Aussie has already spoken to Celtic manager Rodgers despite still being down under.
It appears that the pair shared a very distant conversation that sealed the move from Tilio’s point of view.
“I did have a chat with him a few days ago and I was really excited to have the opportunity to speak to him,” he said.
“The plan the club has for me and for the team is a great opportunity as I said I couldn’t deny, and I’m really looking forward to getting over there to Scotland.
“I’m just finalising a few things and I’m trying to pack up everything here in Australia, and as soon as I can, I’ll head over to Scotland, meet all the team, the whole club.”

Tilio will further add to our attacking options after the recent signing of Odin Thiago Holm.
He will compete with the likes of Liel Abada, James Forrest, Sead Haksabanovic and Daizen Maeda for game-time, while Jota is also on our books for the time being.
But most importantly, the Aussie connection is kept going. From Viduka to McDonald to Rogic to Mooy and now Tilio.
We get the feeling he’s going to get us off our seat.
