Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has a vast array of talent at his disposal, and he will be delighted to welcome his prize assets back as the international break concludes.
Nicolas Kuhn has led the way amid his exceptional run of form. Meanwhile, Callum McGregor has put on a series of vintage displays in the engine room and looks motivated to make more history at Parkhead.
It would be harsh to omit Alistair Johnston, Daizen Maeda or Kasper Schmeichel from the conversation, but like any team, collective spirit comes first over individual achievements.

Celtic are top of the Scottish Premiership and have made tangible Champions League progress, stepping up a gear or two from last campaign’s stop-start nature.
Brendan Rodgers has something to do with that, combining his ability to squeeze excess from existing assets alongside a summer transfer haul that cost the Bhoys over £30 million.
Despite his allegiances across the city, Barry Ferguson has touched on the Celtic player even he has to sit back and admire through gritted teeth and why he has become a vital presence this season.
Even Barry Ferguson admires ‘exceptional’ Nicolas Kuhn
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, Ferguson lauded Kuhn’s ability to consistently provide a sense of unpredictability for Celtic in the attacking third this campaign.
Firstly, when asked how good Kuhn has been, Ferguson replied: “Yeah, he’s doing alright.” This was met with laughter from the panel amid his obvious frustration at the Bhoys’ offensive options.
Later, he added: “I think he came in with an injury, was it something to do with his mouth or something like that?
“This season, he’s been exceptional, there’s no doubt about that. Mark mentioned it’s not just about scoring goals; it’s creating goals as well.
“I think he’s mixed his game up, see if you’re watching him, I know he likes to come inside on that left foot, but also he’s going to the byline as well, full-backs have to think about it. He’s certainly been outstanding for Celtic this season.”
Nicolas Kuhn could earn a surprise international call-up
Over the weekend, Kuhn’s chances of a Germany call-up were touched on by Julian Nagelsmann, who said: “I think both he and Bisseck are great players who still need to improve on some things. Kuhn is also a good player with a lot of desire. He’s someone we’re keeping an eye on. But calling up a new player always means excluding another.”
The fact his national team are monitoring the form he is producing at Celtic is an incredible turnaround from his early innings at Parkhead. Still, nobody can say the recognition isn’t warranted.
Kuhn has ten goals and 11 assists in 17 appearances this term, catapulting him to the forefront of Rodgers’ plans ahead of a busy upcoming fixture schedule.
Now, the challenge for the 24-year-old is to continue his excellent, starting with the Bhoys’ trip to face Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday night.
