Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has now taken charge of ten matches against Rangers, and his record is pretty impressive.
Derby games are a real step up from usual Scottish opposition for this Celtic side. It is arguably the only time we are properly tested domestically.
But Postecoglou‘s team have passed those derby tests more often than not over the past two seasons.

Sunday’s win was Ange’s sixth against Rangers in ten matches. Two have been emphatic Celtic Park wins (3-0 and 4-0) while the other four have been much tighter affairs.
Ange lost his first derby at Ibrox away back in August 2021. He’s drawn the other three matches in 90 minutes, going down in extra time to Rangers in one encounter.
So, if we’re being totally fair and giving the Ibrox side that one, his record is still excellent: played 10, won six, drawn two, lost two.

The dominance has been at its most glorious this season. We’ve faced our rivals five times so far in season 2022/23, winning four and drawing the other. The aggregate scoreline is 12-5 in our favour.
We’ll visit Ibrox again in ten days, looking to cap off a superb campaign of derbies.
With such a large upheaval expected across the city this summer, and Celtic always looking to improve under Postecoglou, it’s fair to assume that more derby victories will be coming our way.
In other news, Celtic could be backed by upwards of 40,000 supporters in the Scottish Cup final
