The furore of the Green Brigade’s ban from Celtic Park continues this weekend.
The three-game ban from Parkhead is also on top of a three-game away ban after Celtic banished the Green Brigade after an incident between the Ultras group, Police Scotland and stewards prior to Celtic’s win over Falkirk on the 7th of November.
Celtic allege that a ‘large group verbally abused and assaulted the steward and police officers’ and posted accompanying footage on the statement released on the club’s official website.
Bhoys Celtic blasted the club for the collective ban and strongly condemned Celtic’s ‘disproportionate, illogical and again, amounting to dangerous collective punishment of Celtic supporters’.
The Celtic Fans Collective also called out the club’s hypocrisy in the speed that the punishment was handed out compared to how long the Fairhurst report took to complete.
The Green Brigade slammed Celtic’s ruling and reasoning as ‘disproportionate’, and now, the Ultras group has released a series of emails sent to the club prior and after the alleged fan incident at Celtic Park.

Green Brigade raised ‘concerns about security’ prior to Celtic ban
Policing at Celtic has been a huge bone of contention for the Green Brigade and it appears that this was raised to the club months before the Falkirk incident.
The statement, alongside four detailed emails sent to Celtic, on X read, “As per the recent GB statement, the group consistently shared feedback and raised concerns with Celtic FC in a mature and constructive fashion as demonstrated with this series of emails.
“Within them, the GB repeatedly raise concerns about security, process and engagement.”
The first four emails were dated 1/08/2025, 12/08/2025, 18/05/2025 and 20/08/2025 as the Green Brigade initiated open dialogue with Celtic at the beginning of the season.
Green Brigade slam Celtic for ‘ignoring’ security concerns
In the second of the two tweets, the Ultras attached a copy of the fifth email sent to Celtic detailing issues with ‘crowd management’ in the Premier Sports Cup win at Celtic Park in August.
The statement continued, “Most of the concerns were ignored and, as was predicted would happen, the security operations and environment has led to a total breakdown over an avoidable incident which was instigated and escalated by Celtic FC and Police.”
It appears that this whole sorry affair is not coming to an end anytime soon and it will be interesting to see how Celtic respond to this series of damning tweets from the Ultras group.
