Celtic have finally made an addition on deadline day after confirming the arrival of Junior Adamu.
Adamu signed on loan from Freiburg with an option to buy in a real coup for Martin O’Neill.
Attacking options have been hard to come by for the Hoops but he will fight for a place with Tomas Cvancara, who also played in the Bundesliga.
Fans could see the 24-year-old in action against Aberdeen on Wednesday night, where he will hope to walk out with an iconic shirt number.
You can pick one forward to sign permanently for Celtic in the summer. Who are you picking?
Adamu or Cvancara?
What shirt number will Junior Adamu wear for Celtic?
It has been confirmed that Adamu will wear the number nine shirt for the rest of the season.
That number has been vacant since Adam Idah left to join Swansea City in the summer and has been waiting for someone to step up and take it.
Cvancara has impressed in his first two appearances but nobody has officially locked down that starting centre forward role.
Now he has the number nine, the Austrian international will be eyeing up that spot.

Celtic stars who have worn the number nine shirt
As with any club, there has been a mixed bag of forwards who have been fortunate enough to wear the number nine shirt.
Starting with the more forgettable players, that list includes names such as Sead Haksabanovic and Kenny Miller.
But, more iconic ones feature Dixie Deans, Jimmy McGrory, Chris Sutton and Leigh Griffiths of late so hopefully he follows in their footsteps.
