Neil Lennon has been linked to the Sheffield United job, and their supporters aren’t best pleased.

Lennon, who left Celtic last month after a two-year return to the club, appeared on Radio 5 Live during the week and expressed an interest in returning to management. Suddenly, that chance may available at a Premier League side.

Chris Wilder, a favourite for the Celtic job, reportedly left Sheffield United yesterday, but no announcement has been made by the Blades. According to the Daily Record, Wilder and United owner Abdullah Bin Musa’ad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had a significant falling out this season.

Lennon, who won 5 league titles with the Bhoys, has managed in England before. Between 2014 and 2016, the former Celtic boss was in charge at Bolton Wanderers. That was before a spell at Hibs, then an unlikely Celtic return.

Sheffield United fans aren’t too happy with the rumours. The loss of Chris Wilder is one thing. The English manager led the Blades to the Premier League from the doldrums of League One during his 5-year spell.
