Wilfried Nancy’s Celtic nightmare continued at Tannadice on Wednesday.
It was unanimously said that Celtic simply had to win against Dundee United, if nothing else, to give Nancy a bit of a break for a few days.
That is exactly what hasn’t happened. Despite a positive first half, Celtic collapsed after the break, conceding two goals that would ultimately be enough for United to win the game.
Celtic fans made their thoughts clear on Nancy after the game, chanting for him to be sacked after just four games.
And ahead of his fifth at Celtic Park on Sunday, Gordon Dalziel has expressed his sympathy for the Frenchman.
Can Wilfried Nancy’s Celtic spell be salvaged by a good transfer window?
Gordon Dalziel on Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy
Nancy has been scrutinised for more than just results.
His media comments have been labelled arrogant, his social media use, tactics board and even his choice of footwear… Just about everything has been called out by someone.

Dalziel isn’t comfortable about how much Nancy is being ‘hunted out’, and even had plenty of compliments for the Dundee United performance.
He said on Open Goal: “My problem with that is quite simple.
“If he’s going to stick to that formation – which he is – he’s going to bring in players to suit that formation.
“And if he doesn’t last after January, and he goes into February and things are still going bad and he’s away, somebody’s going to be left with players that can’t play that formation.
“The next manager comes in – listen, [Nancy] might turn it around, I can’t see it, but he might turn it around – and then all of a sudden, with [Nancy’s] players.
“I feel sorry for the fact that we’ve now got a manager coming into our country, four games in, he’s not had any training time with him at all, he’s not had a transfer window, and already, we’re hunting him out the door.
“We’re now getting to the stage where every game Celtic are playing, we’re going, ‘don’t think they’ll win.’ Which is incredible.
“A lot of people phoned in saying ‘we will not win at Tannadice’. Then you watch the first half, and do you know what? I thought they were really, really good. I did.
“I thought they were excellent. I thought they moved the ball, they looked sharp. I thought to myself: ‘Oh, he’s probably got a wee bit of information onto them.’
“But then, it doesn’t matter about tactics and formations in the first half. Individuals have got to score goals and kill games off.”

How long will Wilfried Nancy get at Celtic?
Rumours emerged on Thursday that Nancy was in discussions to leave Celtic, but most outlets have now said that this was false.
Instead, Nancy enters just his third league match at the helm with a mountain of pressure on his shoulders.
Aberdeen are unbeaten in seven league games, and have now risen into the top six of the table. It’s certainly not the most winnable game that Celtic have had this season.
But if Nancy can’t secure three points, the stadium reaction will be something to behold.
