The strange sight of Joe Hart in the Hoops as fun Ben Foster Celtic video is released

You probably didn’t expect to see Joe Hart wearing the Celtic Hoops today, or ever. But here we are.

The Celtic goalkeeper may be more accustomed to wearing yellow or black for the club, but he has made an exception for a special YouTube video released today.

Hart has appeared in the latest video on Ben Foster’s YouTube channel.

The Wrexham goalkeeper was up in Glasgow recently to interview Hart for his Fozcast Podcast.

And while he was up, it appears that Foster got to make use of Lennoxtown for some shooting fun.

The pair appear in the video initially wearing their usual goalkeeping jerseys before Foster suggests that they should change in to outfielder’s clothing.

Hart in the Hoops takes a bit of getting used, as does some of Foster’s patter. But the video is enjoyable on the whole as the pair test whether keepers can finish like strikers.

In between the sticks for the duration is Celtic B goalkeeper Josh Clarke who seems to have a good relationship with Hart.

Hart and Foster took on several different shooting drills, from right foot and left foot shots to volleys and even the occasional overhead kick.

Celtic’s goalkeeper raced into an early lead before Foster fought back and converted the final penalty for a 9-8 win.

It’s hardly the most insightful video of all time, but it’s worth a watch if you’re looking to kill some time before kick-off tonight.
