Celtic and Rangers are hoping to participate in the Champions League group stages this season.
For Celtic, the Parkhead club need to wait until the qualifying rounds are concluded tonight to find out who they could face in the Champions League play-offs.
Rangers, however, face a tricky trip to Greece where they will hope to defend their 2-0 lead to progress into the third-round play-off play off places.
And it appears that the Greek club have a Celtic ally in Cameron Carter-Vickers as the US defender gives Panathinaikos the run down on the Ibrox club this week.

Celtic hero Cameron Carter-Vickers tells Panathinaikos about Rangers captain James Tavernier
Carter-Vickers has a superb record against Rangers over his four-year spell at the club. In 17 games, the USA international has won 10, drawn four and lost just three.
So who better for Panathinaikos defender and USA international Erik Palmer-Brown to ask about the Ibrox club’s strengths and weaknesses than the Celtic defender?
Palmer-Brown told BBC Sport Scotland, “I spoke to, he’s now retired, a player that played at Hibs, Jimmy Jeggo.
“And from Cam, all I really got was like, they brought in some new signings. He was like, eight or nine new players, so I’m not really sure.
“But he was telling me about their right back and all their players that he did know, and he was like, they’re a good team, and they’re willing to push forward to go get the win.
“Cam’s been my friend for a long time, so it kind of cut off quick about the football conversation and went to life because I just had a kid and everything.
“But it was a good conversation. And with his career, man, him playing in Scotland, I know Trusty’s there now, and what they did last season.
“So congratulations to him but he’s the man. I always saw that coming for him to play at a high level.
“I know he loves Scotland and he talks so much about it so it was a really good conversation.”
