Shakhtar Donetsk have already sold more than 18,000 three-match packages for the upcoming Champions League group stage, which features Celtic, RB Leipzig and Real Madrid.
The Ukrainian side have been displaced to Warsaw for UEFA competition due to Russia’s invasion of their country, so all three of their ‘home’ matches will be played at Legia’s 31,000-capacity arena.
It was unclear how much uptake of briefs there would be, but Sportowe Fakty in Poland have reported that over two-thirds of the packages have been taken up already and that each game is expected to be a full house.

The news has thrilled the Shakhtar players, with defender Valeriy Bondar telling the outlet: “I am very pleasantly surprised by the positive hype in Poland.
“Frankly speaking, none of us expected the tickets to be sold so quickly. Especially in this difficult moment, the support in Poland will be extremely important to us. We will do everything to satisfy both our fans and yours.
“I think the group draw was very good. We ended up with strong rivals and all the matches will be interesting.”
It has yet been confirmed what kind of allocation Celtic supporters can expect for our specific match on 14th September, but it will hopefully be a decent chunk of the stadium.
That news should come early this week with only just over a fortnight until the encounter. Celtic have, of course, played there already this year after taking on Legia for Artur Boruc’s farewell match.
We already know that our fans will get 1,800 tickets for the trip to Real Madrid, which will be like gold dust. With plenty travelling to Leipzig too, there will be a large number of Celtic fans all over the continent this season.
In Warsaw, it sounds like there’ll be a crackling atmosphere regardless of the circumstances, and it will hopefully be a night we all savour with three crucial points up for grabs.
