The club have published the last ever in-depth interview with Tom Rogic as a Celtic player.
Both Rogic and Nir Bitton sat down with the Celtic media team late last week to give their exit interviews, with emotions running high.
Celtic posted a short clip of Bitton’s last week and he could be seen to have been visibly upset.
Rogic didn’t quite get to that stage in his session, but he left no one in any doubt of the love he holds for Celtic and the role the club has played in his career.
He said: “It was an incredibly special time. I feel very fortunate to have been at the club for this period of time and have this many special moments and meet so many special people.
“I can just be really proud of my team here and really grateful.
“It’s not a decision that was taken lightly. It’s been a massive part of my life for such a long period. I can only say good things about the club. My experiences here were unbelievable.
“When you play in front of 60,000 fans for such a long period you grow accustomed to it, but you don’t take it for granted. It’s something I’ll reflect up with great pride and tell my kids and grandkids about.”
Rogic goes with the well wishes of absolutely everyone as he ponders his next step. Whether it’s a money-spinning move to the middle east or one last tilt in European football, it’ll be fascinating to see where he ends up.
I’ll certainly be looking out for any future highlight reels of his exploits in another league, added to the incredible legacy he’s left behind at Celtic.
