There is one thing you are guaranteed when you join Celtic, and that’s to win trophies.

It’s in Celtic’s DNA, and in recent decades, they have dominated like nobody has ever done, including lifting the 2024/25 Premiership title on Saturday, in what was trophy day for the club.

That was one of the headlines from the weekend, including Crystal Palace beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final and lifting their first piece of silverware.

Jack Grealish was on the other side, sitting on the bench, and was an unused substitute by his manager, Pep Guardiola.

But the England international still took to social media to laud one Celtic star.

Jeffrey Schlupp joined Celtic during the winter transfer window when it was suggested that Kieran Tierney could be back in January.

The on-loan Crystal Palace star was starting games pretty much straight away, including in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.

But now he has got his hands on his first trophy at Celtic, with players far and wide posting messages in the comments section of his Instagram post.

Schlupp’s Celtic numbers

Tierney is expected to be Celtic’s starting left-back next season, especially with Greg Taylor on his way out when his contract expires.

So, will the powers that be at Celtic Park replace him with Schlupp? His contract at Crystal Palace also expires in the summer.

One thing is for sure: Schlupp is settled in and could prove to be a very strong squad player for the next campaign.
