Trains to Celtic Park from Glasgow Central are back on after Sunday’s fire at Union St.
On the same day as Celtic’s Glasgow Derby at Ibrox, a massive fire broke out in Glasgow’s City Centre, devastating a historic building and causing significant disruption.
All platforms at Glasgow Central were out of use, and while the high-level station will remain closed for the rest of the week, low-level trains were reopened on Wednesday morning.
The news was confirmed by Scottish Public Transport on Tuesday, giving fans travelling to Celtic Park on Saturday the green light to make their way from Central Station.

The instability of the neighbouring building’s facade has forced the remainder of the station to remain closed, causing widespread disruption in Scotland and the UK.
Several city-centre streets, including parts of Renfield Street, St Vincent Street, and Broomielaw, remain closed or restricted after the fire, which started in a ground-floor vape shop.
There were no reported injuries, but more than 250 firefighters and 18 fire engines were deployed. The B-listed Victorian building, known as Union Corner, has been left largely destroyed.
Home and away fans travelling from Motherwell will also be able to use the low-level service, which terminates at Motherwell station.

The game itself is one of the most anticipated meetings between the clubs in years, with just five points separating them in the table.
The ongoing rumours touting Well boss Jens Berthel Askou as a candidate to be Celtic’s next manager adds another element of intrigue to the clash.
