Luis Palma has a number of clubs interested in his services ahead of the January transfer window.

The Honduran winger’s future at Celtic is up in the air having not played since the end of October.

His minutes on the pitch – from eight outings this term – have been limited and reduced to cameos from the bench and that has alerted clubs to his potential availability.

Manager Brendan Rodgers recently accepted that the 24-year-old has had a difficult time with other players ahead of him in the pecking order.

Rodgers also offered a clear message to Palma as he insisted the playmaker is still “part of the squad” until anything changes.

But the lack of playing time seems to hint at an eventual, inevitable exit for the attacker who has hit 10 goals and provided the same number of assists from 43 total appearances in green and white.

Now 67 Hail Hail can exclusively reveal that two MLS clubs are considering a move for the wide man.

It is understood that both Atlanta United and Orlando City have Palma written on their shortlist of names of potential signings.

The pair of clubs are keen on Palma but have a number of other players also listed as they consider their options.

It is believed there has not yet been any official approach from either club for the player.

Celtic have also not yet been contacted about any potential deal but their resolve could be tested next month should they wish to hold out for a decent fee for their man.

Palma is contracted at Parkhead until 2028 which would force any possible buyers to fork out for the international.

It also leaves Celts in a strong bargaining position should Rodgers be willing to sanction any sort of deal.

Daizen Maeda is the club’s current number one pick on the left-hand side while James Forrest – who just penned a new contract – has also been picked ahead of Palma by Rodgers in recent weeks.

Celtic have a good relationship with Atlanta United having dealt with them with the sale of Giorgos Giakoumakis back in 2023.

Palma himself recently admitted his time at Celtic this season has been difficult.

“Personally, it hasn’t been the kind of month I’ve wanted it to be, but the storm will pass and the calm will always come,” he said.
