French police were attacked by Roma supporters in scenes that shamed the Serie A side and now the governing body is set to severely punish the club.
According to The Sunday Post, UEFA will ban Roma fans from travelling to Glasgow for their double-header against Rangers in November and then Celtic the following month.
This means that more Celtic supporters can pack out Parkhead and the full stadium will be behind Brendan Rodgers and the Bhoys to help them pick up a positive result in their bid to qualify from the group.

Celtic have faced many Italian sides in different European competitions over the years.
Fans will remember great nights against the likes of AC Milan in the Champions League and, of course, that famous night in Rome when Celtic beat Lazio in the Europa League.
But as for Roma, this is the first time the Parkhead club will have come up against the Serie A side and with the game at Celtic Park, fans will be hoping that having 60,000 supporters behind the team will help record another historic result for the Scottish champions.
