Two Celtic players seem to be developing quite the friendship already.
Celtic left it late to beat Dundee in the Scottish Cup as goals from Junior Adamu and Sebastian Tounekti booked their place in the quarter-finals.
It wasn’t a pretty performance for those who chose not to boycott the game as a part of ongoing protests against the board.
Martin O’Neill singled out Tounekti for his performance while the new Celtic signing Adamu was backed by the Hoops boss to make an impact.
Without those two, we could have been talking about an embarrassing loss, and it seems the duo have already become good pals.

Tounekti was the provider for Adamu’s brilliant backheel before the roles reversed for the Tunisian to score the winner.
In the unique angle posted to Celtic’s YouTube channel, the duo warmly embraced each other and were the first to celebrate each other’s goals.
The pair seemed to develop a telepathic understanding after coming off the bench to flip the game on it’s head.
A connection like that has felt like it has been lacking this season as the Hoops have struggled to find a consistent number nine and the players out wide have been far too inconsistent.

Making so many signings in the winter transfer window was to primarily improve Celtic’s squad depth.
All six of the additions will have a role to play and will become more important with each week that goes by.
