Celtic now know 23 of the 31 other teams that will be joining them in the Champions League group stage after last night’s Europa League final.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s superb trophy win over Rangers means that, like Celtic, they are guaranteed a place in next season’s competition.
Not only that, they’ll take a spot in Pot 1, avoiding seven of the most dangerous teams in the tournament. As you may know by now, Celtic will be in Pot 4.

Alongside these teams, still to be added, are the fourth-placed English Premier League team, the Ligue 1 runners-up and the teams who make it through from qualifying.
The draw doesn’t take place until after qualifying on August 25th, so there is still a bit of wait to go until the Bhoys find out who is in the same group.
Nonetheless, it’s set to be a mouthwatering prospect, especially if Celtic manage to do strong work in the transfer market this summer.
We have a massive target to build towards, alongside the thrill of defending the Scottish Premiership title. What a few months in store!
