Video: Celtic produce class behind-the-scenes Austria footage
Celtic have produced a fine behind-the-scenes package on the club’s Austria tour so far after a hectic start to the camp.
The Hoops have been carrying out double-sessions over the last few days with the international stars returning to the fold. The club took part in its first pre-season game of the campaign last night too as they mauled Wiener Viktoria 7-0.
And now, Celtic have delivered a video package showing what’s been going on at the camp as well as a look at their hotel and training facilities:
The club have shown footage of their recent training sessions as well as a kit shoot carried out at the beginning of the tour.
In addition to that, John Kennedy talks through the training plan with Juranovic giving his thoughts on the new home jersey.
Next up for Celtic is a trip to Rapid Vienna as they look to step up their pre-season preparations even further.
Celtic players kick-off training camp with high intensity levels
That seems to be the buzz word going around the Celtic camp at the moment – intensity. It’s what Ange prides this team on and it’s, effectively, the identity of the club at the moment.
Anthony Ralston has already spoken about the high levels being put in by the players in a recent Celtic TV interview. And that didn’t just appear to be lip service either going by last night’s game against Wiener Viktoria.
Postecoglou and his coaching staff were heard consistently shouting out orders to his team as he constantly demanded more from them against Wiener Viktoria. You could see, even at this early stage, how much emphasis they’re putting on a high tempo.
Celtic fans can expect more of the senior players to be involved for Saturday’s game against Rapid in what’s going to be an important encounter. Perhaps a better barometer of where we are in terms of fitness too.
But from the video above you can see the work already being put into the players from the coaching staff. And it’s necessary too given the packed schedule we have ahead of us.
I, for one, just can’t wait for it all to get going again.
