James Forrest created more Celtic history this weekend with his goal in the win over Aberdeen.
The legendary Celtic winger is not only the club’s most decorated player, he has now scored in every single season since he made his first-team debut in 2010.
Forrest’s Celtic goals have helped the Hoops dominate Scottish football over the last 17 years and helped the Bhoys officially become Scotland’s most successful club.
And now, after his goal in Celtic’s win over Aberdeen, BBC Scotland paid tribute to Forrest with footage of one goal from every season he has scored for the Parkhead club.

James Forrest’s first and last Celtic goal so far
Forrest scored on his Celtic debut in a 4-0 Parkhead win over Motherwell in 2010.
Since then, the winger has netted 110 times in 548 games as BBC Scotland posts one goal from each of Forrest’s senior Celtic seasons.

Interestingly enough, Forrest has only scored two goals against Rangers despite playing against the Ibrox club 34 times, winning 23 of those.
The only other Celtic player to exceed James Forrest’s scoring feat
Incredibly, Forrest’s remarkable achievement has still not exceeded one player who has scored in 18 seasons in a row for Celtic.
The legendary Jimmy McMenemy scored in every single one of the 18 seasons he spent at Celtic between 1902 and 1920.
McMenemy scored a grand total of 164 goals in 516 Celtic appearances winning an incredible number of trophies in the process:
- 11 x League titles
- 6 x Scottish Cup
- 8 x Glasgow Cup
Remarkably, McMenemy was only capped 12 times for Scotland in an illustrious career that made him one of Celtic’s all-time greatest players.
