Celtic are still in North Carolina on Thursday, busy preparing for a Saturday match against Chelsea in Indiana.

The Bhoys have made the decision to stay based at the facilities in Chapel Hill before travelling the 700 or so miles north to the iconic surroundings of Notre Dame.

Confidence is high within the group after producing a slick attacking performance against Manchester City on Tuesday night.

The only concern coming out of that one was the status of Nicolas Kuhn after Brendan Rodgers revealed he’d have liked to keep the winger on for longer but for an issue felt in the winger’s knee.

Thankfully Kuhn has shaken off any concerns after that half-time substitution and could be spotted getting stuck into a very wet training session earlier today, via a video on the club’s social media channels embedded below.

Fans will be eager to see the German attacker back in action against Chelsea after his dynamite performance to punish City earlier in the week.

Kuhn netted two goals with some eye-catching, direct attacking place before providing a sumptuous outside-of-the-boot assist for Kyogo to score.

He had a difficult first six months at the club after some initial fitness complications following surgery to his teeth back at Rapid Vienna but now looks ready to hit the new campaign in vibrant form.

Chelsea pose another difficult pre-season test

The London side have already arrived in the United States and took part in a friendly against Wrexham on Wednesday night, drawing 2-2.

Under new boss Enzo Maresca, they’ll be looking to implement a fresh style of play against Celtic and will pose plenty of threat this weekend.

However, if the Bhoys can produce the levels they did against City then there’s no reasons to think Rodgers’ side can’t make it three wins from three across the Atlantic, with Kilmarnock waiting next weekend.
