Carrying the mantle of Scotlandβs biggest and most successful club means Celtic will always generate the most noise wherever they go.
After a drama-filled and chaotic campaign, which saw Martin OβNeill guide Celtic to a domestic double, attention has now turned to the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Based in Boston, Scotland beat Haiti 1-0 for their World Cup opener as the Tartan Army took over the city in full voice.
But interesting footage emerged from the States, because two Celtic supporters were casually walking past a lot of Scotland supporters in Boston, and they got a typical reception.
FitbaFocus on social media posted a clip of the Hoops fans getting booed by the Scotland fans, as you can see from the video below.

Celtic and Bostonβs deep-rooted connections
Now, whatβs not known is whether those two Celtic supporters travelled to the USA to watch Scotland in action, or if they are locals.
The simple reason is that there is a deep-rooted history between Celtic, the Irish and Boston β so, there is every chance they could be locals wearing their colours proudly.
The cityβs iconic NBA franchise, the Boston Celtics, was famously named to honour its massive Irish community.
Further indicated by their famous green colours, as well as the four-leaf clover logo.
Celtic fans, will you be tuning into the 2026 World Cup?
π¨ A lot of off-field noise around it π¨
Celticβs success will always hurtβ¦
Even during a campaign where everything and anything was going wrong for Celtic, it still ended with a domestic double.
While Hearts cried back to Tynecastle trophyless, and Rangers, once again, ended the season empty-handed.
It further proved the power Celtic have on the domestic scene, because nobody has won more titles or trophies in Scotland, and you sense it wonβt stop anytime soon.
