Celtic’s disallowed goal is still grabbing the headlines today as Brendan Rodgers shared what the club have done since Saturday’s defeat to Hibs.
The Celtic boss was incensed with the officials at full time as he told the referee and the linesman exactly what he thought about VAR disallowing the Hoops an equaliser at Easter Road.
The Celtic manager was asked about the decision again today as Rodgers revealed what the Parkhead club have done 48 hours after the game had ended.

Brendan Rodgers confirms Celtic have contacted the SFA about Hibs ‘goal’
The Hoops boss was taking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Celtic’s fixture against Aberdeen as he confirmed that the SFA have been contacted by the Parkhead club for an explanation.
Rodgers said, “I don’t think there’s any more footage on it. I think the club go through the process. We don’t make statements and do all sorts of things.
“We just go through the procedure and the process which is the club to speak to the SFA and just get a feeling of what they think.
“Obviously, we haven’t had anything back yet.”
Brendan Rodgers says he’s seen different ‘images’ that proves VAR was wrong about Celtic ‘goal’
As pictures of the incident flew over social media over the weekend, Rodgers confirmed that he has seen one such photo that shows the ball ‘clearly in’.
“My feeling is still the same having watched it and seeing the various images,” continued Rodgers.
“And there are a couple of images that you see where the illusion is that it’s out, but then there are others that will look like it’s clearly in.
“I saw one right on the actual goal line which was an incredible shot really so that looked in.
“So it’s more the process really. I was disappointed for the guys in the game, Steven the referee and the linesman because they actually got it correct in the game and I didn’t feel that then they should have been overruled on that without a definitive answer, which is what I said at the time.”
Until Celtic hear back from the national association, this will need to be parked for the next 24 hours. Aberdeen come calling to Celtic Park tomorrow night and no further slip-ups will be welcomed by Rodgers.
With just eleven games left of the season, the Parkhead boss will be keen to get this title wrapped up as soon as possible and a win against Jimmy Thelin’s Aberdeen will go a long way to help that.
