One thing you cannot claim is that his Celtic side have been complacent.

Despite now leading the Scottish Premiership for several months, Ange Postecoglou and his players continue to issue the same dressing room message of one game at a time after each match.

And that was no different on Sunday afternoon after the 1-1 draw against Rangers.

Facing the media on this occasion was Celtic winger Jota, and in the aftermath of a result, the 23-year old was not being forced into changing the message that the Hoops dressing room has displayed all season.

The on-loan Benfica man insisted that the squad will ‘keep on going’ into another crucial game next week, aiming to keep their intensity up in each game.

When speaking to Celtic TV, he said: “It’s always a tough game against Rangers, so we tried our best. We wanted to win but, unfortunately, we didn’t.

“Our style of game always aims for goals and pressing, and keeping after them, but unfortunately we didn’t score again after the first goal, but we kept on trying, and then we conceded a goal. But the main thing to think about all of this is that we didn’t give up.

“It’s game after game. We know how important the next one is, so we keep on, we don’t give up, we get together the troops, and we go into battle next week.”

With such a new squad that has only just come together, it could have been easy to let slip the lead at the top of the league.

However, Ange and his players haven’t let slip at all over the past few months.

Despite facing some challenges, including plenty of injury issues, they have never made excuses and continue to display the important message until the title is delivered.

Hopefully, the players are able to deliver the title as soon as possible.

After such a brilliant campaign, they certainly deserve that reward at the end of the season.
