Alexandro Bernabei has shared a class photograph of him and his daughter at Celtic Park.

The Hoops full-back played the entirety of last night’s 3-1 win over Hearts – his first minutes on the pitch since mid-January.

In that intervening period, his partner Val had given birth to Olivia, with the Argentinian thanking Celtic on Instagram at the time. (Glasgow Live)

Bernabei was thrust back in last night due to Greg Taylor‘s absence, and put in a strong second-half display after a lacklustre first period.

After the game, he sensed his opportunity to take a lovely photograph that some younger ones may even call ‘wholesome’.

Bernabei stuck the photo up on his Instagram story alongside the caption: “Welcome to Paradise, daughter.”

Just like Matt O’Riley’s intriguing comments on Tuesday, Bernabei’s story highlights how little we all often know about what is going on in footballer’s private lives.

The past six weeks will have been an unsettling time for the youngster, and it is perhaps no surprise that he hasn’t featured much, especially when Taylor has been such a reliable option.

On the pitch, Bernabei is still waiting for that blow away performance. He hasn’t been a bad signing by any stretch, but you just know there’s so much more to come.
