Celtic’s defeat to Rangers caused some serious toxicity after the full time whistle went at Parkhead.
Celtic fans booed Wilfried Nancy and the team as they made their way off the park after their pathetic performance allowed Rangers back into the title race.
The Celtic board copped a lot of anger as the executives sat in their comfy seats as the team capitulated right before their eyes.
If Wilfried Nancy was to be sacked, who would you want to become the next Celtic manager?
There was also a demonstration on The Celtic Way as supporters voiced their anger towards the Parkhead executives as they streamed out of the stadium.
But it was what happened during the game that BBC touchline reporter Martin Dowden shared as Police Scotland felt the need to make their presence felt inside Celtic Park.

‘Police presence’ at Celtic Park dugout during Rangers’ Parkhead win
As everyone knows, a Glasgow Derby can get fairly toxic whenever Celtic and Rangers meet.
And when Rangers scored their second goal, the BBC man shared just how bad it got.
Dowden said on BBC Scotland, “Wow. All credit Rangers, what a turnaround.
“For Celtic, this has just gone full-scale toxic. The board are getting it in the neck from supporters. Many are streaming out of the stadium.
“There’s a police presence now near the dugout, where Wilfried Nancy stands in utter disbelief.
“Celtic are in crisis, with Rangers fully seizing on their chance.”
Thankfully, the presence wasn’t needed despite the anger felt by Celtic supporters as they watched their team collapse against Rangers.
Nearly 48 hours on from the result, Wilfried Nancy remains in situ as Celtic fans wait to see if the board will remove him from his duties.
What now for Wilfried Nancy after Celtic’s defeat to Rangers
If Nancy’s time at Celtic was untenable after the defeat to Motherwell last midweek, it’s almost certainly over now after that performance and result against Rangers.
Is Wilfried Nancy’s position untenable?
This Celtic team continues to make the same mistakes game after game, and after eight fixtures, Nancy seems to be not learning his lesson.
The Celtic manager is under extreme pressure and his post-match press conferences are certainly not helping.
Nancy claims he sees improvements in this Celtic team. Well, can he point them out to the fans because they are seeing nothing from the players to back up those claims.
