Most of the talk over Celtic’s win over Kilmarnock has been to do with the match refereeing rather than the Hoops’ performance.
Celtic’s win at Kilmarnock was hard fought as Brendan Rodgers’ team struggled to break down and, at times, were under the cosh from Derek McInnes’ team.
But it was the officials who took centre stage as they appeared to miss a couple of big calls.
Kris Boyd was raging that Celtic hero Reo Hatate wasn’t shown a red card after a challenge that the Kilmarnock boss admitted wasn’t ‘a bad tackle’.
Peter Grant believes Celtic’s Adam Idah was elbowed after Kilmarnock defender, Joe Wright’s illegal challenge.
But it was Kyogo Furuhashi who was on Chris Sutton’s mind after the Rugby Park win as the Celtic legend spotted something the Japanese striker did that won’t go down well with fans.
Chris Sutton believes Kyogo Furuhashi dived in Celtic’s win vs Kilmarnock
Sutton was reviewing the worst dives of the weekend and said the Celtic striker ‘went down too easily’ against Derek McInnes’ team.
Sutton told BBC 606 [1h 7m 24s], “Well, I tell you, he has, Rob. He has Nicholas Jackson. Lousy from Lattaro.
“Martínez is going down too easily. A special mention to Kyogo Furahashi, the Celtic striker, Rob, as much as I like Celtic, he went down too easily today at Kilmarnock.
“But the winner of this week’s Simulation Game, Chelsea will win a trophy this season, naughty Nicholas Jackson.
“You’ve had a good season Nick, just stop going to ground too easily. You’re better than that.”
Kyogo Furuhashi’s impact on Celtic’s season so far
Regardless of whether people believe that Kyogo dived at Kilmarnock or not, the Celtic striker remains an integral part of Brendan Rodgers’ team.

In 16 appearances for Celtic, Kyogo has scored six goals and created three as the Hoops’ unbeaten domestic run continues.
The Japanese striker has also netted in the Champions League after scoring in Celtic’s hammering of Slovan Bratislava last month.
With goals against Rangers and Aberdeen as well, Kyogo is still one of Celtic’s big-game players and will continue to make a huge impact as the Parkhead club chase a treble and qualification from the Champions League group phase.
