The Courier report that Ferry has been watched by Parkhead scout Tosh McKinlay on numerous occasions.
In Celtic’s 2-0 loss to Dundee Utd in April, Ferry scored one and set up the other.

United reportedly accepted a £1.7 million bid from a Czech side for the defender earlier in the transfer window, though he rejected the move.
He also showed his ability in Europe last season, standing out as Jim Goodwin’s side took Rapid Vienna to penalties in the UEFA Conference League.
Born and raised in Bury, Ferry recently made his debut for the Republic of Ireland national team earlier this year.
He made the move to Tannadice in 2024 after excelling in EFL League One for Cheltenham Town. He previously spent four years on the fringes of the first-team at Southampton.
Saracchi spent much of last season as backup to Kieran Tierney, though given the latter’s injury record, his role in the squad remained important.
The Uruguayan defender wrote on Instagram on Friday: “Dear Celtic fans, I’m writing this to say goodbye.
“We had an intense, beautiful year together where we achieved so many of our goals.
“My agent and I did absolutely everything within our power to make a return to Glasgow happen.
“I’m truly gutted that I won’t be able to continue at the club at this stage of my career. However, I know our paths will cross again in the future.
“I wish you all nothing but the best for what’s ahead.
“Thank you for everything.”
