Scott Sinclair has been heavily praising Celtic and the club’s supporters this week, appearing as a guest on Sky Sports show Soccer AM.
Sinclair joined the club in 2016 at the start of the Brendan Rodgers era and won a barrel load of trophies during his time in Scotland.
During the club’s invincible 2016/17 campaign, nobody played better than the exciting winger.
Over the years his output decreased, and when Neil Lennon came into the club, it became clear he should be moved on.
Now at Preston North End, he’s reminisced fondly about his time in Glasgow.

He told Soccer AM: “It was probably one of the best decisions I ever made in my career, at that time.
“Once I went up there, I knew how big Celtic was, but I didn’t realise how big it is until you play for them. When you do play for them, you realise: ‘Wow, this is a massive club.’
“You get to play in the Champions League or in Europe in the Europa, and it is one of the best times of my career. It was amazing. Once you are there, these are the games you look forward to the most.
“When you play in it, it is something else. I played in numerous derbies, but nothing compares to a Celtic and Rangers game.”
It’s fantastic to hear that Sinclair enjoyed his time at the champions so much.
His contribution to our nine-in-a-row run will be remembered fondly by supporters and, in the fullness of time, recognised as one of the most significant individual Celtic efforts of the entire decade.

Sinclair scored 62 goals and assisted 34 times in 167 appearances.
We got to enjoy the 31-year-old during his peak years.
The lightning attacker was a class act on and off the field, as is still apparent.
In other news, Celtic defender Shane Duffy has responded to a fan’s snarky social media comment.
