Celtic have spent months looking at Kasper Høgh. If they have seen enough, it is time to stop talking and put the bid in.
Celtic were reported to be leading the race for Hogh in May so interest in the player is not a surprise to the Hoops support.
The club have since found out that Hogh will cost more than £7m. Celtic have watched him for long enough. Now they have to decide whether he is worth the money.

Anthony Joseph confirms Kasper Høgh remains a Celtic target
Anthony Joseph has now confirmed that Hogh remains a target and expects Celtic to make a move “at some point”. Celtic clearly want him, so the mystery is why no bid has gone in.
Nobody is asking Celtic to throw more than £7m at a player without doing their homework. The problem is that this appears to have been going on since at least May, and yet no move has been made.
Bodo/Glimt are in a strong position because Hogh is contracted until the end of the 2029 season. They can sit tight and ask for every penny they think he is worth.
They are also second in the Eliteserien and one point behind Viking. Hogh is leading the line in a title race, and Bodo will not be keen on losing him right now.
Why Celtic cannot leave the Kasper Hogh move too late
Hogh has delivered seven goals and four assists in 12 league appearances this season. He is already in full flow while Celtic are still getting ready for the new campaign.
Celtic begin their league defence against Dundee on 3 August. Bodo/Glimt then face Union Saint-Gilloise in a Champions League tie beginning on 4 or 5 August.
Bodo are hardly going to be keen to lose their main striker once their European campaign starts. Leave it much longer and Celtic will give Hogh barely any time to settle before their own Champions League play-off tie.
Nobody doubts Celtic like the player. The only question now is when will the Hoops make their move and whether they like him enough to pay what Bodo want.
