Celtic’s search for another striker has taken them back to Kasper Høgh after the Dane proved he could score against some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Martin O’Neill has reportedly turned Celtic’s attention back to Hogh as he looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of the season kick-off on the 3rd of August.
But as speculation surrounding Hogh’s immediate future continues this summer, Celtic have learned the price for the Danish striker after his impressive Champions League exploits last season.

Celtic would have to pay more than £7m for Hogh after a report from Norwegian outlet Avisa Nordland revealed what Bodo now want for the striker.
The Glasgow giants were linked with a move for Hogh in January but Celtic were given a £10m valuation as he continued to shine in the Champions League.
The Dane scored 15 goals and created 11 assists last season with five goals and three assists coming in UEFA’s elite competition.
The Denmark international is contracted to 2029 and Bodo are under no immediate pressure to sell their star striker.

Hogh has scored 54 goals in 103 appearances for Bodo and he has also created 22 assists for his teammates over his time at the club.
Despite Celtic signing Camilo Duran, it’s clear O’Neill still wants to strengthen his forward line before the new season starts.
The report now gives Celtic a clear decision to make after tracking the player for a number of months now.
A fee above £7m would represent a serious outlay, but Høgh is 25, entering his prime and has already shown that he can deliver against Champions League opposition.
Celtic already know what Høgh can offer and now appear to know roughly what it will cost to sign him. After missing out in January, the next move belongs to Michael Nicholson and the Parkhead recruitment team.
