Brendan Rodgers was the man responsible for signing Callum Osmand, but will be left feeling annoyed by his recent emergence in the first team.
Rodgers signed Osmand in the summer transfer window, however, the 19-year-old never got a chance in the first team.
Since the Northern Irishman’s resignation, the forward has been a breath of fresh air and even scored his first professional goal in Celtic’s 3-1 win against Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final.
Fingers have already been pointed at the former Hoops boss as to why he didn’t play the forward, and now he will be kicking himself following recent revelations.
Brendan Rodgers will miss out on Callum Osmand if he takes Fulham job
67 Hail Hail revealed earlier that Rodgers is under consideration for the Fulham job if they chose to part ways with Marco Silva.
Fulham are 15th in the table but with Silva out of contract at the end of the season and underperforming, they make a change sooner.
While it will be a chance to return to the Premier League, there will be an element of annoyance over not getting the chance to use Osmand in his side.
Fulham could do with some goals
Osmand only has one goal so far, but has looked more lively than most, with only Johnny Kenny keeping him out of the side during Martin O’Neill’s reign.
As for the West London club, Fulham are one of the lowest scorers in the division with 12 goals from 11 games.

While he may not have been a certain starter, the 19-year-old could have made a similar impact to the one he has made in the green and white.
Rodgers will never know himself while Osmand will be out for some time, setting back his excellent start ever so slightly.
