The transfer window is over and Celtic can finally take a breath.
In the end, Brendan Rodgers managed to bring 11 new recruits as he secured the return of Kieran Tierney and deadline day additions of Sebastian Tounekti and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Despite the arrivals, a number of supporters are still fuming with the way that the window went and the Green Brigade even released a statement to the Celtic board.
Now that the window is closed and the Hoops’ first-team squad has been finalised, 67 Hail Hail has graded every Celtic signing from the 2025 summer transfer window.

Ross Doohan – 5/10
Ross Doohan returned to Celtic to play the coveted role of third-choice goalkeeper. Doohan fills a quota that helps the Hoops meet UEFA’s registration requirements for the Europa League.
It’s unlikely we will see much, if any, of him this season.
Callum Osmand – 5/10
Callum Osmand signed from Fulham this summer and was tipped for big things by the Celtic manager. The 19-year-old scored goals for fun in Premier League 2 last season but moved north of the border.
Osmand had an impressive cameo for Celtic B but is yet to feature for the first team so far. Time will tell on this one, but this signing feels like one that is more likely to pay off in the long term as opposed to the short term.
Hayato Inamura – 5/10
Hayato Inamura is a project signing but is impressing Celtic fans already. Inamura was crowned the Japanese Maldini after a pre-season friendly but Rodgers has stressed continuously that he needs to go out on loan.
The Celtic manager left him out of the Europa League squad and while we’ve seen glimpses, I doubt we will see the defender get much game time.
Jahmai Simpson-Pusey – 5/10
Another player that Celtic fans are waiting to see is Jahmai Simpson-Pusey. Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Simpson-Pusey and allowed him to move to Glasgow to get a taste of senior football.
However, fans are yet to see the 19-year-old in action and Guardiola will be angry to see him not in the Europa League squad either. Is this just a back-up or will we finally see the youngster after the international break?
Shin Yamada – 5/10

Doubts were raised about Shin Yamada’s questionable goal record in the J League, but in his early appearances, the forward has shown some promise.
The 25-year-old is frighteningly fast and looks incredibly raw, but there is still more to come and he needs more time to develop.
Sebastian Tounekti – 5/10
Sebastian Tounekti was the deadline day arrival at Celtic after Hammarby caved into the Hoops’ £5.2m bid.
Tounekti is relatively unknown and the Tunisia international will be one to watch when we come back from the international break, where he may feature against Kilmarnock.
Kelechi Iheanacho – 5/10
Rodgers wanted two strikers in on deadline day after Adam Idah joined Swansea City, but was only able to get one.
Kelechi Iheanacho signed on a free transfer after Sevilla cancelled his contract to enable the move to be completed after the 11pm deadline.
The 28-year-old agreed a one-year contract after a difficult two years, however, if anyone can get the best out of Iheanacho, it’s Rodgers.
Marcelo Saracchi – 5/10
Celtic needed a back-up full-back to help with Tierney and they got that in Marcelo Saracchi.
The Argentine fell out of favour at Boca Juniors but will be a solid addition and provide natural cover for the first choice option when Tierney can’t play or needs a rest.
Michel-Ange Balikwisha – 6/10
It felt like forever but the Hoops finally got their man after signing Michel-Ange Balikwisha.
Balikwisha had teased his move to Celtic for the best part of the year and he was able to make his debut in the Glasgow derby against Rangers.
While he didn’t set the world alight, the £5m talent had only been with the Bhoys for a few days and from the clips we’ve seen before, looks like he will excite.
Kieran Tierney – 6/10
Everyone was excited to see the local Bhoy return to Paradise and while he is yet to get up to full speed, it’s been great to see him back.
There are concerns about Tierney’s failure to complete a full 90 minutes but, after hardly any football in the past six years, the left-back is hoping to improve.
With plenty of games under his belt and Tierney pulling out of the Scotland squad, the best version is just around the corner.
Benjamin Nygren – 7/10
There is no denying that Benjamin Nygren has been the signing of the season so far.
Nygren joined for a bargain fee under £2m and has chipped in with plenty of goals already.
Many expected him to be used as a winger but he has played in the midfield trio alongside Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate and looked the part.
He still has lots to work on as he is still only 24, but the Sweden international has impressed.
