Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has an interesting decision to make in goal this weekend at Hampden.
Hoops keeper Joe Hart has been an ever present in the league this season, but has sat out both League Cup games.
In the wins over Ross County and Motherwell, it is Ben Siegrist who has been between the sticks.
This was a noticeable change from Postecoglou’s maiden season when Hart played in all eight of our domestic cup ties.
Postecoglou may want his experience at Hampden, but he may also want to see what another keeper has to offer.
To add further intrigue to this debate, Siegrist has missed out on our last two matches through injury.
Scott Bain has appeared back on the bench on both occasions but it does seem unlikely that he would feature at Hampden.
So time will tell whether Siegrist is available to play. If he’s fully fit, there’s a fair chance he’ll start.
Of course, I could have probably have played in goal against Kilmarnock last weekend, so we may be discussing a completely pointless issue.
We’ll find out soon enough.
