Celtic saw the red mist once again as Auston Trusty was given his marching orders against Hibernian.
The Hoops lost 2-1 at home to Hibs as they were dealt a huge blow in their hopes of winning the Scottish Premiership title.
Trusty was sent off when the two teams were drawing 1-1 and it played a role in the eventual defeat. However, this is becoming a wider issue.

We’re not even three months into 2026 and Celtic have already seen three red cards.
Two of those have been given to Trusty and the other to Reo Hatate in the Europa League tie against Bologna.
In all three of those games, Celtic have ended up dropping points (Hearts, Bologna and Hibs) as a result of the one-man disadvantage.
These are all costly moments and when the club looks back at it, this will be one of the many deep-rooted issues that have seen them fail.

Dane Murray is the other, and more likely option, the one to come into the starting XI. While Murray has played before, and knows what is expected as a boyhood fan, his shaky performances in high-profile games have right to cause concern.
