Colby Donovan admits Celtic need more signings
Donovan wants to see more signings at Celtic this summer, and that will matter far more to supporters than his diplomatic message about trusting the board.
When asked if his friends keep asking him about possible transfers, Donovan told The Scottish Sun, “Yeah. But you have to put your trust in the board that they’ll make the right decisions.
“We go out on the park and play our football. Camilo has come in and you saw on Saturday how good he looks.
“He’s made a brilliant start and that’s two goals in two games in pre-season. He looks really sharp.
“You see him pressing centre halves and goalkeepers, he’s tidy on the ball and has a nice left foot. He looks hard to play against and I certainly wouldn’t want to defend against him.
“It’s been a big boost for us with him coming in and hopefully there will be a few more new faces.”
Duran has already shown what one proper addition can bring to O’Neill’s Celtic squad. Nicholson and the board now need to deliver several more before Celtic face Dundee and begin their Champions League campaign.

Recruitment belongs to Nicholson, Chris McKay and the people inside Celtic Park who have left O’Neill waiting for more additions.
Supporters will judge those men on what they do, not on a teenager backing them in an interview. Celtic fan groups have organised and demanded urgent change, with Nicholson and McKay the main targets of the supporter anger.
Celtic open their Premiership campaign against Dundee on 3 August. The Champions League play-off begins on 18 or 19 August, so Nicholson is running out of time.
