Celtic will finally welcome the Green Brigade back this weekend, and it could not have come at a more important moment in the season.

After months of absence, the group’s return ahead of the St Mirren clash instantly changes the feel around Parkhead.

With the title race tightening and every point now critical, the timing alone makes this a major development. Celtic head into the final run of fixtures chasing down Rangers and Hearts, with only a handful of games left to play.

Celtic Park hasn’t been the same without the Green Brigade

The Green Brigade aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, for various reasons, and that’s fair enough. However, the Celtic Park atmosphere has been terrible since their ban.

Hoops fans are happy with the return of the group and deep down, the players will probably be so too.

With several huge home fixtures remaining, starting with St Mirren, the time is for everyone to gather together, rally behind the club and get themselves over the finish line.

Celtic fans collective call for delay to renew season tickets

Just because the group are returning to the stands, don’t think that means a truce when it comes to frustrations with the board.

An open letter to the club roadmapping the next steps the Green Brigade want to see were published but before that, the Celtic fans collective has called for fans to hold off renewing their season ticket until the end of the season.

Fans were divided about the option of renewing their season ticket on TalkingPoints, but the collective want to send one final message before the campaign is done.
