Celtic fans have been reacting to confirmation of who the Hoops will face in the Scottish Premiership post-split fixtures.

A mouth-watering final day home game against Hearts awaits the Hoops in a contest that could see a winner-takes-all situation at Parkhead.

That news was swiftly followed by confirmation that the Green Brigade will return to the stands with immediate effect, meaning that they can attend the game against St Mirren on Saturday 11 April.

Following the news of the fixture release, 67 Hail Hail asked our fans on TalkingPoints to give their reaction to the games.

Your first thought when you see the fixtures…

How many points will we pick up?

Celtic fans quietly confident after seeing post-split fixtures

Martin O’Neill’s side had to play everyone at some point but seeing the way the fixtures have been organised proves that Celtic hold the cards in this title race.

Playing Rangers and Hearts at home is a huge advantage and fans feel cautiously optimistic about the chances of winning the league.

One user commented: “Win, lose or draw we’re in the mix, Six wins is easily possible. C’mon the Hoops!!”

Another added: “That last day is both tasty but nailbiting. I think it will go down to that game as well.”

This fan was very confident, adding: “I think they couldn’t have been better if they were picked by MON himself. With Rangers’ first three away and us game three, we have a chance to kill them off after they drop points in the first two. Then we can set up a final day showdown with Hearts by turning them over.”

A fifth fan commented: “The way we are at the moment, it’s hard to see any sure wins. The Motherwell game could be decisive, but we must beat the bairns and bhuns first.”

Finally, this supporter stated: “Not very confident.”
